Because We Love Animals Education Program

For more information or to schedule a presentation please contact Sherry by phone or email.

Humane Education is a key component to changing the landscape for companion animals.    The changes start with the children.   Our education program is a school board approved program.

Children are our best hope for the future.  They need to be taught compassion and kindness to animals, to empower them to make more compassionate and informed choices in their lives outside of school.   If children learn to treat animals well, they are more apt to treat people well.   It helps make our world a better place, not only for the animals, but the people and our communities too!

We, as a society, can no longer tolerate the abuse and neglect of cats and dogs in our communities.  It needs to be instilled that pets are important members of the family unit, and as such, deserve to be cared for, fed, watered and vetted when ill.

Our Education program addresses these issues.   The program coordinator is Sherry Griffith, who recently retired from the Campbell County School System and brings many years of experience to this program!

We are pleased to announce that our program will receive funding from The Latham Foundation for 2019 and 2020!

We are an affiliate partner of the Humane Education Coalition.
