SpayCC is a 501c3 organization formed in 2016 to address the overpopulation of unwanted, abandoned cats and dogs in our communities. To ensure that every cat/dog born in Campbell County has a home and not born into homelessness, hunger and suffering just because they were born.
Our board members/officers have collaborated with other area groups since 2012. We are an all-volunteer organization, with no paid positions and we have no building or facility. SpayCC is NOT affiliated with any other nonprofit in the area.
We work with two local veterinary clinics: The Campbell County Animal Shelter Public Spay/Neuter Clinic and Jacksboro Veterinary Services. We have special discounted rates, approximately 50% less of the normal cost, for spay/neuter services, plus free, 1 year, rabies vaccination the day of service.
The Low Cost program is open to Campbell County residents with income of $55,000 or less, the cost for a dog, under 40lbs, is $80. Cats $70. This includes a free, 1 year, rabies vaccination the day of service. Once your income is verified, you must pre pay at the vet office, and text us a copy of the paid receipt before the appointment will be made.
Service Provider Jacksboro Veterinary Services:
Our Assistance Program is open to Campbell County residents with income of $35,000 or less. The owner cost for a dog, under 40lbs, is $40, with SpayCC subsidizing $40 for a total of $80, owner cost for a cat is $35, with SpayCC subsidizing $35, for a total of $70. This includes a free, 1 year, rabies vaccination the day of service. Once your application is approved, you MUST prepay the co pay to Jacksboro Veterinary Services and send us a photo of the paid receipt before the appointment will be scheduled. Pets must be 8-12 months in age for this service provider. There is also possible other fees, such as heat fee or pregnacy fee, that the owner will be responsible for. The aid only covers the Spay/Neuter service.
Service Provider Campbell County Animal Shelter Public Spay/Neuter Clinic:
Dogs, 60lbs and under, owner cost is $35, with SpayCC subsiding $40, for a total of $75 includes 1 year rabies vaccination and free DAPPV (while supplies last)
Cats owner cost is $30, with SpayCC subsidizing $35, for a total of $65. includes 1 year rabies vaccination and free HCP vaccination (while supplies last)

There are NO additional fees for pregnancy, heat or crypoid at the animal shelter clinic.
As of June 30, 2023 SpayCC has assisted 5750 animals, and impacted 4147 families, in our communities. The pets we help already have a home, their owners just need a bit of help getting their beloved pets spay/neutered.
